During the last months of 2013, a stable Reuse Centre has been set up in the Municipality of San Casciano Val di Pesa, by the Waste Collection Centre located at Canciulle and managed by Quadrifoglio. The opening initiative of the Reuse Centre has been organized by the Municipalities, in cooperation with Quadrifoglio and the Province of Florence, on 14/12/2013.
The management of the Reuse Centre has been assigned to the following local associations: Mani Tese Firenze Onlus, Cooperativa Riciclaggio e Solidarietà, Operazione Mato Grosso, Associazione Forum Cittadini insieme. The revenues from selling the second hand goods will be used to finance cooperation initiatives in Latin America (Guatemala, Ecuador, Bolivia).
